Compliance First is approaching its 20th birthday and so managing director Janice Laing talks to Sophie King and looks back over the last two decades

In 2004, Laing (pictured) joined the team at Compliance First and since then has seen the firm grow. She says it has been wonderful to see the firm develop and evolve. What the staff have achieved over the last two decades has been "absolutely first class," Laing says. "We're always gathering feedback and trying to make sure we're ahead of the curve." One way it has managed to stay ahead, Laing notes, is by working well with advisers who might handle similar situations differently.
