Verbatim

Verbatim was developed when SimplyBiz Group Member Firms identified they were unhappy with their existing process for identifying their client’s attitude to risk. Advisers recognised there was a real need for an independent and impartial process for ascertaining attitude to risk, and stated that they would welcome a new investment process, which placed their client’s needs at the heart of it, not a product providers.

Taking this feedback on board, Verbatim was created to address these issues, and provide advisers with an independent tool that they can be confident will help them in assessing their client’s ability and willingness to take investment risk. In addition, the Verbatim process creates a report on the most appropriate investment solutions for their clients, based on the amount of financial risk they are willing to take.

Verbatim is designed to assist advisers in accurately ascertaining their client’s attitude to risk, determining asset allocation and assisting with fund selection. As independence is key, Verbatim is proud to partner with an independent firm (Distribution Technology) and offer Dynamic Planner, which assists advisers in identifying their client’s attitude to risk, as part of the Verbatim investment process.
